Hey there, beautiful soul — welcome to Gypsy Girl Haven.

I’m Regina, and if you’ve stumbled across this blog, chances are you’re searching for something. Maybe it’s hope. Perhaps it’s clarity. Maybe it’s that little nudge from the universe that whispers, “it’s your time.” Whatever brought you here, I’m so glad it did.
This isn’t just another health and wellness blog filled with rules you’ll forget by next week. This is a haven. A sacred, soulful space where progress matters more than perfection, where your story — with all its messy, raw, beautiful chapters — belongs.
At Gypsy Girl Haven, it’s about real people, real struggles, and real victories. Whether you’re on a weight loss journey, healing from heartbreak, chasing energy you haven’t felt in years, or just trying to remember what it feels like to wake up excited for the day — you’re home.
So pull up a seat at my virtual table, grab your favorite drink, and let’s start a conversation that just might change your life.
Who is Regina, Really?
Let’s get real for a second — because if you’re going to hang out here, you should probably know who you’re dealing with.
I’m Regina. A 45-year-old mom to two incredible human kiddos and one fur baby, my Gypsy Princess (aka Gypsy Girl). I’m a crafter, a baker, a bit of a wanderer, and definitely the friend you call for brutally honest advice, a girls’ night, or a good glass of wine by the river.
I’m also a Gemini — which means you never quite know which version of me you’re going to get: the soulful sage or the slightly sassy, occasionally ditzy goofball. Both are alive and well, and I’m learning to love every bit of her. But behind the sass and sparkle, there’s a story.

In 2023, my world shattered. I found myself at rock bottom, stuck in a life so dark, I wasn’t sure I wanted to keep living it. Complete transparency, days before it shattered, I didn't care if I survived or not, that is how tired I was - but that's another story for another blog.
Years of fear, control, abuse and isolation had stolen the light from my soul. And when the threats of physical violence finally turned to action, I found the strength to take action. I called the cops on my spouse, and I took my life back.
By the grace of God, the unshakable love of a tribe I never expected but so desperately needed, and sheer stubborn grit, I started to rise. The days were heavy. The nights were endless. But one breath, one step, one whispered “not today” at a time, I fought for the woman staring back at me in the mirror.
And, you know what, she came back. Stronger. Braver. And more unapologetically herself than ever before.
That’s the heartbeat of Gypsy Girl Haven — born from the ashes of rock bottom, built to be a safe, sacred place for anyone who’s ever felt lost, broken, or unworthy. Because I’ve been there. And if you’re there now… this is your sign that it’s not over.
You are never too far gone. Never too broken. And it is never too late.
Together, we rise. Together, we heal. Together, we thrive.
My Soulful Wellness Journey
If you’ve ever struggled with your weight, your energy, or your relationship with yourself, friend — you’re in good company. I’ve been at war with my body my entire life. At my highest weight, I was 355 pounds and carrying more than just physical weight. I had high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, hormone imbalances, zero energy, and spine issues so severe my doctor recommended a surgery he usually performed on 80-year-olds. And I was only 40. That was my wake-up call.
In 2021, I decided enough was enough. I started small — focusing on one thing at a time. I hired a health and fitness coach to help me set realistic goals and started unraveling the toxic relationships in my life, including my relationship with food. Therapy became a lifeline. And for the first time, I had honest conversations with my doctor about medical options.

I considered bariatric surgery, but the risks and stories I heard scared me. Instead, I started GLP-1 medications, and by November 2024, I’d lost 80 pounds. I’d also left a 20+ year abusive marriage, been fired from a job I loved, and hit a plateau that left me physically depleted and emotionally wrecked.
I was existing on 800-1000 calories a day, stuck in brain fog so thick I could barely function, and despite the number on the scale, I felt worse than I did at my heaviest.
I was exhausted, defeated, and close to giving up on my health journey altogether.
And then came Isagenix.
A friend introduced me to it, and to be honest, I was skeptical. I figured it would be just another overpriced thing collecting dust on my shelf. But I was desperate. I promised myself I’d give it 30 days. It took less than a week and I was convinced...this stuff was a game changer for me, it was the lifeline I needed!
Within days, the fog began to lift. My energy came back. I made it to the gym without feeling like I was dragging a 500-pound weight behind me. And the plateau? Smashed. All because of a protein shake, a Bioactive pill, and the decision to bet on myself one more time.

I kept going. Kept ordering and kept feeling better. And when I looked at the woman I was becoming — fueled by healing, faith, and a little protein powder magic — I knew I wasn’t just surviving anymore. I was starting to thrive.
Gypsy Girl Haven became my way of honoring that. A nod to my rescue pup and emotional support sidekick, Gypsy Princess — a fellow free spirit who came from the meat trades of Thailand and found her way to us in the U.S. Her name always symbolized freedom, love, and light to me. And that’s what I wanted to create: a haven for others on their own messy, beautiful health journeys.
A place to find peace, purpose, and their own way home to themselves.
The Mission Behind Gypsy Girl Haven
So why Gypsy Girl Haven?
Because I believe — with every fiber of my being — that we all deserve a place where we can show up exactly as we are, bruises and all, and be met with compassion, encouragement, and truth.
This isn’t just about weight loss. It’s not about chasing some impossible Instagram-worthy version of health. It’s about becoming the happy, healthy, whole human you were always meant to be.
My mission is simple: To help you rebuild your health, reclaim your happiness, and reconnect with your heart.

We start with your temple — your body. It’s the only one you’ve got, and it deserves to be cared for, nurtured, and loved. But Gypsy Girl Haven goes deeper. We unpack the emotional weight. We heal the stuff no diet or workout plan ever talks about. The trauma. The self-doubt. The heartbreak. The fear.
What makes this space different is that it’s real. It’s raw. It’s a little sassy, a little messy, and 100% rooted in love.
I’m not here to sell you on some magic fix. I’m here to remind you that you are never too far gone. Never too broken. And it is never too late.
Whether you’ve got 10 pounds or 200 to lose, whether you’ve been battling depression, stress eating, or soul-crushing burnout — you have a home here. A tribe of women who get it.
Gypsy Girl Haven is your place to rise, to heal, and to thrive on your terms.
Who This Haven Is For
If you’ve made it this far, chances are you already know this is your kind of place.

This is for the woman who:
Is done chasing quick fixes and ready for real, lasting change.
Wants to shed pounds while also shedding the root causes weighing down her heart and soul.
Feels like she’s lost herself somewhere along the way and is desperate to find her spark again.
Craves a tribe of other women who get it — no judgment, just encouragement.
Is ready to rise, to heal, and to reclaim her life.
If you’ve ever whispered “I just need a sign” — this is it.
I created this haven for you. For us. For every beautifully flawed, fiercely resilient woman out there who's decided it’s time for her comeback story.
